GSLV MK-3 2017

GSLV MK-3 is an three stage heavy launch vehicle developed by indian space research organisation ( ISRO ) . GSLV has two solid straps , a core liquid booster and a cryogenic upper stage . MK-3 is designed to carry 4 tons of satellites into geosynchronous transfer orbit (GTO ) and ten tons of low earth orbit ( LEO ) . It is twice the amount of GSLV MK-2 .

 

The first heavy lift vehicle MK-3 of ISRO named as "Fat boy' . This is considered as india's most powerful heavy vehicle so far . Now, ISRO is planning to increase the capacity oof GSLV MK-3 from 4 tons to 10 tons , by acheiving this ISRO can send haumans into space in the upcoming years .
