What is a butter ball ?
An stone carving nearly 250 tons with 6 m height and 5 m wide located in an inclined slope(4 ft ) . In, english we can say it as " stone of sky god" .


Where it is located ?
Mahaballipuram , Chennai , India .
How long butter ball standing so far ?
1200 years 

Who built it ?
Pallava king , Narasimhavarman .

What is the meaning of butter ball ?
Actually , hindu mythologists says that it shows us about an hindu god named  "lord krishna" . Lord krishna always steal butter not only in his home from neighbours house too . Inorder, to indicate the naughty activity of "lord krishna" .The butter ball is built .  

Is it an successful attempt ?
No,the butter ball is not an fulfilled stone art . So , Narasimhavarman ,pallava king tried to fall it , but he failed to made it fall .

Does anyother made an attempt to move it ?
Yes , in 1908 governor of the city " Arthur Havelock " used 7 elephants to move butter ball . But, he  too faild as well as narasimhavarman .

conclusion : The particular butter ball even inspired the raja raja cholan , it leads to the creation of  the world famous "thanjavur bommai " . It also shows how to withstand strong in our life .
